Ak (Persian: آک; also known as Ak Kant and Āq Kant)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Ak Rural District of Esfarvarin District, Takestan County, Qazvin province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,484 in 834 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,082 people in 859 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,220 people in 950 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
