Waterside is one of the seven district electoral areas (DEA) in Derry and Strabane, Northern Ireland.[1] The district elects seven members to Derry and Strabane District Council and contains the wards of Caw, Clondermot, Drumahoe, Ebrington, Kilfennan, Lisnagelvin and Victoria.[2] Waterside forms part of the Foyle constituencies for the Northern Ireland Assembly and UK Parliament.

It was created for the 1985 local elections, replacing Londonderry Area B which had existed since 1973, where it originally contained six wards (Altnagelvin, Caw, Clondermot, Ebrington, Lisnagelvin and Victoria). For the 1993 local elections it gained an additional ward, Kilfennan.
