Sándor Bohács (born 5 September 1994) is a Hungarian handball player who plays for Ferencvárosi TC and the Hungarian national team.

Career

Club

Sándor spent part of his junior years in the Tiszavasvári SE team, then moved to Debreceni EAC, and then played for PLER KC for six seasons – he made his debut there in the NB I in the 2012/13 season. He played three seasons in Budakalász FKC, and from the summer of 2019 he is strengthening Ferencvárosi TC.[1] He played with Budakalász FKC in the EHF Cup in the 2017–2018 season, and in the EHF European League with Ferencvárosi TC in the 2022/23 season. In the summer of 2023, it was announced that he would leave the Ferencvárosi TC team after 4 years.[2]

National team

In 2013, he was a member of the Hungary that finished tenth at the Junior World Championship. On April 6, 2018, he made his debut in the senior national team in the Hungary-Austria warm-up match in Siófok, 33–22. (scored 2 goals).[3] He was included in the large squad of the 2020 European Men's Handball Championship,[4] but in the end he will not become a member of the narrow squad.
