Her innovative approach to investment and asset management has greatly impacted the industry, making her a respected figure in the sector.[6][7]

Career

Radhika's professional pathway began with notable organizations such as Microsoft, McKinsey and Company, and AQR Capital Management,[8] before embarking on an entrepreneurial venture with Forefront Capital Management in Mumbai. This venture was subsequently acquired by Edelweiss Financial Services Limited in 2014.[9] She has been an influential figure on the board of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) since 2017 and served as the Vice Chairperson for two consecutive terms from 2021 to 2023.[10] Her insights and leadership have been integral to the industry's growth and innovation.

In 2023, Radhika brought her entrepreneurial spirit and financial acumen to the popular television series Shark Tank India Season 03,[11][12] where she shared her passion for entrepreneurship and invested in emerging businesses that are shaping India's future. Her tweets on November 4, 2023, revealed her excitement and commitment to supporting new ventures in a personal capacity, receiving widespread admiration from her followers.

Her authenticity and engaging storytelling made a profound impact online, as evidenced by her viral video 'The girl with a broken neck',[13] further cementing her influence and reach.

Radhika assumed the role of CEO at Edelweiss Mutual Fund (Asset Management Company Limited) at the age of 34 in 2017. Under her guidance, Edelweiss Mutual Fund achieved significant milestones including:

  • Launch of Bharat Bond ETF  in 2019, India’s first corporate bond ETF.[14]
  • Achieving a notable growth in Assets Under Management (AUM from ₹ 6.5 crore (as of 31 March 2017) to over ₹ 1.20 lakh crore (as of 30 November 2023) and crossed a landmark of ₹1 lakh crore AUM as on 31 January 2023.[15]
  • Acquiring JP Morgan Mutual Fund and seamlessly integrating it into Edelweiss in 2016-2017.[16]
