Max Plath (born 3 October 2001)[2] is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a five-eighth or a halfback for the Dolphins in the National Rugby League (NRL). He is the son of former Brisbane Broncos player John Plath.
Background
Plath was born in Brisbane, Queensland. He was educated at Iona College Brisbane. He was signed by the Dolphins after being spotted played junior reps with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls and for the Queensland under-19 team.[3]
Playing career
Early career
Plath was a Wynnum Manly Seagulls junior.[4] After coming through the junior ranks, he was signed by the Dolphins for their inaugural 2023 NRL season.
Dolphins
On 2 June 2023 in round 14 of the 2023 NRL season, Plath made his first grade debut from the bench in their 30−8 loss to the New Zealand Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium.[5]
