Membership within the IPHE is extended to nations that have demonstrated substantial commitments to allocating resources for research, development, and demonstration endeavors aimed at propelling the progress of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.[1]

Background

Within the framework of International Partnership for Hydrogen d Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE), two central working groups play a pivotal role: The Education and Outreach Working Group and the Regulations, Cods, Standards and Safety Working Group.[2]

The IPHE organizes workshops and events for stakeholders aligned with its mission - "To facilitate and accelerate the transition to clean and efficient energy and mobility systems using hydrogen and fuel cell technologies across applications and sectors."[3][4]

In July 2005, the G8 Summit endorsed the IPHE in its Plan of Action on Climate Change, Clean Energy, and Sustainable Development and identified it as a medium of cooperation and collaboration to develop clean energy technologies. [5]
