Huta Adlanovich Akhmadov Russian: Хута Адланович Ахмадов; 26 September 1972 – 5 September 1999) — was a Chechen military leader who fought against Soviet and Russian troops in Afghanistan and Chechnya.[1]

Biography

One of the ten Akhmadov brothers.[2] He began his military career in Afghanistan, fighting on the side of the Taliban against the Soviet army.[3] When the First Chechen War broke out, Akhmadov returned to Chechnya and fought with his brothers against the Russian armed forces .[4] He died during the Dagestan war in 1999 after being hit in the eye by a sniper's bullet.[5]
