Hidayah (lit. 'Guidance') is a 2023 Indonesian religious horror film directed by Monty Tiwa in the series with the same title.^[1] The film stars Ajil Ditto, Givina, and Alif Joerg. The film was released on January 12, 2023.^[2]

Plot

Tells about the journey of Bahri's religious life, a former prisoner who wants to bury his past. In order to forget his dark past, he decided to move from his residence in the city to a village called Mekarwangi. Bahri's move to Mekarwangi Village was due to the request of his friend, Hasan, who wanted to ask for his help. Mekarwangi village reportedly experienced supernatural disturbances, which were believed to be caused by Ratna, Bahri's old friend. When he came to the village, Bahri found Ratna, his old friend, who was in pain due to a serious illness, but he never died.

So, Ratna always felt pain and Ratna's screams of pain always haunted the silence of the village every night. Not only was Ratna's screams disturbed, the village was also disturbed by supernatural creatures that haunted the residents. Until finally, Ratna was found dead due to her health condition getting worse. However, Bahri is required to be responsible for all problems that occur. However, instead of feeling angry at being expelled from the village, Bahri asked for guidance and strengthened his faith.
