Gil Khuran District (Persian: بخش گیل‌خوران) is in Juybar County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kuhi Kheyl.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 20,875 in 5,362 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 21,689 people in 6,413 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 22,757 inhabitants in 7,474 households.[2]

In 2023, Larim Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Larim District. Chapakrud-e Gharbi and Chapakrud-e Sharqi Rural Districts were established in Gil Khuran District.[6]
