Enrique de Vera Macaraeg (December 28, 1955 – October 23, 2023) was a Filipino prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. Born in Manila, Macaraeg was ordained as a priest in 1979. He was appointed Bishop of Tarlac in 2016, serving until his death in 2023.[1] Macaraeg was the chairman of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines – Episcopal Commission on the Laity (ECLA) until his death. Severo Caermare (vice chairman of ECLA) assumed the two-year term chairmanship from December 15, 2023 succeeding the late Bishop Macaraeg.[2]

On October 23, 2023, Macaraeg died due to a cardiac arrest while playing basketball in Malasiqui. He was 67.[3]
