Dino Fetscher (born 9 June 1988) is an Olivier Award-nominated Welsh actor. He is known for his roles in the television series Cucumber, Banana, Paranoid, Gentleman Jack and Years and Years. He also starred as the synthetic Stanley in Humans. In 2023 he appeared in the Apple TV+ series Foundation as Glawen Curr, and in 2024 starred in the Netflix drama Fool Me Once as Marty McGregor and the Oscar nominated short film Good Boy starring Ben Whishaw.

Early life

Fetscher was born in Cardiff, Wales. His mother is German and his father is Welsh-Basque.[1][2] Fetscher trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.[3]

In 2017, he was nominated as Celebrity Rising Star at the British LGBT Awards.[4][5]

Career

Fetscher's first television role was as Aiden in the 2015 series Cucumber and its spin-off anthology series Banana.[6] He portrayed series lead DC Alec Wayfield in the 2016 series Paranoid,[7] and the synthetic human Stanley in Humans in 2018.[6] In 2019, Fetscher played the recurring role of Ralph Cousins in Years and Years and portrayed Thomas Beech in Gentleman Jack.[6] In 2023, he appeared in the Apple TV+ series Foundation as Glawen Curr, and in 2024 starred in the Netflix drama Fool Me Once as Marty McGregor.[8]

In 2022, Fetscher was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in a West End production of The Normal Heart.[6][8][9]
