The Central District of Khamir County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان خمیر) is in Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bandar Khamir.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 35,917 in 7,645 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 39,119 people in 9,668 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 41,821 inhabitants in 11,757 households.[2]
