Asim Iftikhar Ahmad is a Pakistani diplomat with a career spanning several decades in the Foreign Service of Pakistan. He has served in various capacities both within Pakistan and abroad, including as the Ambassador of Pakistan to France and the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Career

Asim Iftikhar Ahmed joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1993.

He was Pakistan's ambassador to France and permanent delegate to UNESCO.[1][2] Before his role as Ambassador to France, he served as Additional Secretary for Asia Pacific.[3]

He also served as the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office replacing Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry.[4]
