Aftab Nagar is a residential area of Badda Thana in Dhaka District, Dhaka Division, Bangladesh.[1][2]

Aftabnagar is bounded by Merul Badda to the north and Rampura Thana to the south. The notable university here is East West University.[3] Here is Dhaka's biggest cow market, Aftabnagar Cattle Market.[4][5] If you go down Rampura Bridge in the capital, Aftabnagar is a little further. From Rampura Bridge towards the north, the gate written Zahurul Islam City will be visible. If you go straight through that gate, it is Aftabnagar.[6][7]
