The 2023–24 Portland State Vikings women's basketball team represents Portland State University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Vikings, led by third-year head coach Chelsey Gregg, play their home games at the Viking Pavilion in Portland, Oregon as a member of the Big Sky Conference.

Previous season

The Vikings finished the 2022–23 season 15–16, 8–10 in Big Sky play to finish in seventh place.[1] As the #7 seed in the Big Sky tournament, they defeated #8 seed Idaho State in the first round,[2] upset #2 seed Montana State in the quarterfinals,[3] before falling to #3 seed and eventual tournament champions Sacramento State in the semifinals.[4]
